1. What is the Horsey People Shop?
The Horsey People Shop is an online marketplace where you can discover and shop products from equine, country, and rural brands across Australia. It’s designed to give customers like you access to high-quality gear, fashion, feed, supplements and more — all in one place.

2. How is this different from the Horsey People Giveaways?
Our giveaways are all about rewards and community fun. The marketplace is our next step — a way to connect you directly with the best brands and products, while still earning perks like bonus giveaway entries with every eligible purchase.

3. Is the marketplace open to everyone or just VIP members?
Anyone can shop! But if you’re a Horsey People VIP Member, you’ll unlock extra benefits like 5% off every purchase and bonus giveaway entries.

4. Do you only stock horse-related products?
Nope! While horses are at the heart of what we do, the marketplace also features a curated range of rural lifestyle, country fashion, farm goods, and accessories that suit the country way of life.

5. How do you choose which brands to feature?
We carefully handpick vendors based on product quality, values, customer service and relevance to our rural and equestrian community. Many are Aussie-owned and run, just like us.


SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

6. How do I place an order?
Just browse the site, add items to your cart, and checkout — just like any other online shop. Even though products come from different brands, we’ve made it super easy with one central checkout.

7. Can I shop from multiple brands in one checkout?
Yes! You can add items from multiple vendors to your cart and check out all at once. Each brand will then handle and ship their part of the order separately.

8. How do I use my VIP discount?
If you’re logged in with a VIP account, your discount will be automatically applied at checkout. You’ll see the savings reflected before completing your order.

9. Do I earn giveaway entries when I shop?
Yes! For every $50 you spend in a single transaction, you earn 1 bonus entry into our current giveaway. VIPs still get their usual entries on top of this.

10. How do I know my order went through?
After checkout, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your order summary. Each vendor will then follow up with shipping details once your item is on the move.


SHIPPING & DELIVERY

11. Who ships my order — Horsey People or the vendor?
Your order is shipped directly by the vendor. This means quicker dispatch, fewer middlemen, and direct support for Aussie businesses.

12. How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are set by each vendor and calculated at checkout. Some vendors offer free shipping over a certain amount — keep an eye out for those offers!

13. When will my order arrive?
Delivery times vary depending on the vendor and your location. Most orders ship within 1–3 business days, and you’ll receive tracking info once it’s on the way.

14. Will I receive multiple packages if I order from different brands?
Yes, you may receive separate parcels, since each brand ships their items individually. You’ll get separate tracking numbers for each.

15. How do I track my order?
You’ll receive tracking info via email directly from the vendor. If you have any issues, we’re always happy to help.


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

16. What is your return policy?
Return policies are set by individual vendors, but all sellers on our platform must meet our customer service standards. You’ll find each vendor’s return terms listed on their product pages.

17. Who do I contact if I need to return something?
Start by contacting Horsey people directly. We will escalate with the vendor if we need to.

18. Can I exchange for a different size or colour?
Most vendors do offer exchanges, but it depends on their individual policy. Be sure to check sizing carefully or reach out to the vendor before ordering if unsure.

19. What happens if my item arrives damaged or is incorrect?
Please contact Horsey People as soon as possible with a photo and details. 


VIP & GIVEAWAYS

20. How do I become a VIP member?
You can join the Horsey People VIP Membership via our main site. It gives you access to exclusive discounts, entries into every giveaway, and extra perks when shopping the marketplace.

21. What benefits do VIPs get when shopping?
VIPs receive 5% off every purchase and 1 giveaway entry for every $50 spent in the Shop — on top of your regular entries from giveaway packages.

22. Do purchases from the Shop count towards giveaway entries?
Yes! Every $50 you spend in a single transaction earns 1 bonus giveaway entry. Entries are valid to residents across Australia, with the exception of South Australia (SA). These exclusions are due to local permit restrictions that apply specifically to those states and territories. All other Australian residents aged 18+ are eligible for bonus shop entries.

23. How are giveaway entries calculated from purchases?
They’re tallied automatically based on your order value (excluding shipping). You don’t need to do a thing — we’ll apply your entries for you.


PRODUCTS & VENDORS

24. Are the products sold directly by Horsey People?
No — the products are sold and shipped by individual vendors on our platform. We provide the storefront, marketing, and support.

25. Can I trust the vendors listed on the site?
Absolutely. Every vendor is reviewed and approved by our team. We look for quality, service, and values that align with our rural and equestrian community.

26. How do I recommend a brand for the marketplace?

ORDER MANAGEMENT

27. Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
This depends on whether the vendor has already processed it. Contact Horsey People ASAP — the info is in your confirmation email. 

28. How do I update my delivery address?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, reach out to Horsey People immediately. Once it’s dispatched, address changes may not be possible.

29. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All transactions are securely processed. Buy now and pay later are available for Horsey Shop purchases only and cannot include giveaway purchases.

36. Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Our platform uses encrypted payment processing and complies with the highest security standards.
